Overdue Birthday Card
This magical scene transforms the woods into a haven for readers, reminding us that every book opens a door to adventure, no matter how small the creature or the library!
In the heart of the forest, imagination and creativity spring to life within an adorable woodland library, where enchanting little creatures gather to indulge in their favorite stories. Tiny bunnies nestled in the grass with eager eyes scanning the pages of forest tales, an owl peeking through his glasses from atop a little library a lazy fox is buried deep inside the pages of a paper adventure…
Playful critters share their favorite reads on the three layers of dimension contained in this “overdue” Birthday card.
Simple “paper springs” create the dimension between three layers of this card. That’s right… 1 x 3 inch pieces of cardstock scored at 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 then folded on the score lines to create a “w” shaped mechanism (spring).
The background panel consists of a pretty pattern paper from lawn fawn with a frame die that contains a tree attached to that ( all products will be listed below ).
The tallest grassy hill is attached using foam tape to the 1st ( background ) panel which creates the 2nd layer of dimension.
The paper springs are then attached to the back of a grassy frame die cut and the front of the 2nd layer, creating the third panel of dimension.
These adorable little characters from Lawn Fawn - Little Woodland Library are then colored, die cut and arranged on the different layers of the card background to create this super cute book themed scene.
“Sorry this card is overdue” is only one of the many sentiments offered in this playful stamp set.
There is an add on for this set that has tons of little book title stamp options that can be stamped on the books, as well as another book, a butterfly and buzz trail for the butterfly.
As always with Lawn Fawn there are so many super fun elements between the stamps and dies that allow your imagination to create playful projects filled with imagination.
These Lawn Fawn backdrop frames are often used in my Lawn Fawn creations. They have been around for while but definitely get used often. These frames may still be available for purchase, however if not - I’m sure Lawn Fawn has something that would be equivalent or maybe you already have something in your stash.
