What’s a Christmas Tree without lights?!

My favorite part of Christmas is all of the beautifully decorated trees all lit up with such an array of different lights.

Although they are all decorated trees, each and every one appears differently depending on the decorations and lights applied to the trees. Not to mention the shaping of the tree…

This tree from Honey Bee Stamps - Tree Builder Set is no exception to beautiful!

However, for me…when creating this card, I needed it to have lights! Real lights that would actually lit up reminiscent to the Christmas trees we decorate up for the season in our living rooms.

The ornaments are embossed in gold, and colored in red, as are the presents below the tree.

Each little ornament has its own die, which can be a touch fidgety, but not to painful.

There are several presents to choose from when creating your Christmas tree scene.

I chose the arrangement in this card so that the bow on the middle present acts as the “switch” for the light up mechanism that sits hidden between the layers of the card.

One simple press of the bow, turns the lights on and off on the Christmas tree.

As you can see the tree is still beautiful with the lights turned off.

But… what a special surprise when the recipient clicks the lights on!
