Hoppy Easter - 2 Easter Cards

Next in the Easter line up is this super cute card featuring this adorable chick sending “sweet thoughts”.
The image comes from In The Nest Spring Into Easter Digital Collection from Polkadoodles Crafts.
The sweet sentiment is from an Easter Greetings Digital pack (18 greetings) also from Polkadoodles Crafts.
The card started with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch layer of white cardstock. I ink blended the panel using 2 shades of purple. Then used a bubbly type stencil (this can be found under Tools of the Trade), to add a pattern in the darkest of the purple inks.
The next layer again started with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch piece of white cardstock. I continued the stenciled pattern on this layer using both of the purple shades of ink.
This layer was die cut using a scalloped edge die and attached to the first layer.
Next I colored this adorable little chic, eggs and nest using Copic Markers and then just fussy cut the image.
The image was added to this panel using a wobbler, however that isn’t necessary it could just be adhered using foam tape or liquid glue.
The sentiment was trimmed to size and added with foam tape, and the card front was added to a card base.
Lastly, I added a gorgeous Pink Fresh Studio Clear Drops - Lilac ( linked below). I absolutely love Pink Fresh Clear Drops for embellishments - they resemble perfect water drops.

This card features another digital image from Polkadoodles - Bunny Egg Sitting
The sentiment is also from the Easter Greetings
This card uses similar ideas to the first card with ink blended cardstock as a matte, a stenciled background, the Copic Colored image, and even the clear drop embellishments.
Digital images are a “go to” for me when I need to create something quickly - so with no shipping time.

Both cards turned out simply “sweet” and will be perfect for sending some Easter love…
I think I will pass these on to the residents at a local nursing home in hopes of bringing someone smiles this Easter holiday.
