Hoppy Mother's Day to Some Bunny Special!

POLKADOODLES DESIGN TEAM PROJECT

The theme was Mother’s Day - I wanted to create a super cute card that would be intended for a small child to give to their mother. And this fun layout using 3 LIttle Bunny Rabbits checks all the boxes. These adorable bunnies paired perfectly with Lilac Haze pattern papers to show Mom she is “Some Bunny” special!

Not only does the card feature the cutest little bunnies, gorgeous pattern paper and a fun sentiment, it also has a fun layout that is quick & easy to create. A simple cut on the card base allows pretty pattern paper to peek out from the inside of the card, which also gives the inside of the card a little decor. Another section of pattern paper decorates the bottom of the card.

Super cute layout for any card theme!

Simple, yet not your ordinary flat send card.

This card starts with a card base cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, Scored @4 1/4.

On the front section of the card base, measure over 1 1/2 inches from the top right corner, and make a pencil mark.

Cut on a diagonal from the pencil mark to the bottom right corner. Slicing a diagonal cut off of the card front.

Emboss the front of the card base using a favorite embossing folder.

Next - Cut Pattern Paper 1 at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8.

Measure 1 1/2 inch across the from the top right corner and pencil mark. Cut a diagonal from the pencil mark to the bottom corner.

Make this same cut again on Pattern Paper 2.

**If your card base is not white - attach an inside panel of white paper to the card inside cut at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8.

Attach pattern paper 2 to the inside of the card in the top right corner leaving just a slight border peeking from behind the pattern paper.

Using the piece of cardstock cut off of the card base, adhere Pattern Paper 1 cut piece to this piece, leaving a small border of the cardstock. Attach this layer across the bottom of the card using foam tape.

Color the bunnies or chosen focal point for the card front, cut out and attach to the card using foam tape.

Print & cut the greeting (or stamp) and adhere in desired position on the card front.

Add coordinating rhinestones, gems or bling as desired, as well as any other final touches.

That’s it! This card is just that easy!! And looks adorable!
