Have a “Beary” Good Christmas - Handmade Card
Bella the Bear has returned with holiday wishes!
We’ve seen Bella the Bear tossled up in a flower patch, we have seen her with offerings of coffee, and also disguised as a bee. She’s now returning on a series of completely adorable Holiday/Winter cards.
I am so excited to be working with these images - since I simply adore creating with cute little cartoon bears!
Cutesy little bears are my thing and I can’t thank Polkadoodles enough for the opportunity to create Christmas cards with these completely heartwarming festive digital stamps.
I can’t forget the papers… I love all of the patterns on the Polkadoodles pattern papers, but the Christmas designs might possibly be my favorite. I love picking a pack of papers and mixing and matching them with so many Christmas images to create super cute Christmas cards.
The sentiments - perfectly suited for the images, adding that final touch of magic to the card.
This card features adorable little Bella in a winter scene admiring a little tree she has obviously claimed in order to hang her Christmas stocking in hopes that Santa will fill it with some Christmas goodies.
The single image is called Stockings Bella Christmas Bear which is the pre colored version, and if you don’t like to color the precolored version can be found here.
Simply download, print, color, and add to the card front.
The pattern paper is Set 2 Christmas printable paper, but don’t stop there. So many amazing Christmas paper packs to choose from.
The sentiment - A perfectly thought out digital greeting pack - Christmas Greetings. Plenty of sentiments for all of your Christmas creations.

That’s a lot of crafting loot!!
Just image the great cards or scrapbook pages you can create with all of this product!
So the card, it’s a quick and easy layout that packs a lot of festivity!
Here are the basics of the card design:
Card base - 4 1/4 x 11, Scored @5 1/2
Pattern Paper - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
White Cardstock to die cut a rectangle or other shape. I used a postage rectangle.
White cardstock for the sentiment approx. 1/2 x 3
I printed the image twice, & colored the background images on only 1 ( so the tree and stocking ), and added a little bit of grounding under where Bella would stand. Then die cut the image to the postage rectangle. I added that layer using foam tape to the pattern paper layer.
On the 2nd image I colored only Bella using Copic Markers and fussy cut her image out of this background. I applied foam tape to the back of Bella and adhered her in place on the background layer.
I added some glossy dots to the berries on the holly and a little sparkle to the ground under her feet, then adhered this layer to the front of the card base.
“Have a Beary Good Christmas” on a sentiment strip and a little foam tape allowed the greeting to stand out just at the bottom of the image.
A few snowflakes from my stash were the last magical touch for this card front.
Adding only Bella into the scene with foam tape created another layer of dimension and simply brought this card to life… I love it!
