A “Christmoose” Card

Well there’s something you don’t see everyday - a “Christmoose” card!

An image, a little festive pattern paper, a few glittery gems and a sentiment - throw it all together and we have a quick, easy and adorable Christmas card.

Elvis is just so darn cute!

When I first saw the Elvis Wesley collection of products from Polkadoodles crafting, I simply knew I “moost” have them!!

You can purchase the Big Kahuna Bundle - which includes 26 images ( black/white and precolored, beautiful festive papers, a wild assortment of Moose themed Greetings, as well as cutting files for the images.

If you don’t want the whole amazing bundle ( but why wouldn’t you? ), you can also choose the images separately. This allows you to only pick the designs you love the “moost” to work with. The image on the card above is Mistletoe Hello. The pattern paper pack is Elvis Wesley Moose themed paper. The sentiment pack is Elvis Wesley Moose Themed Sentiments.

Personally, I think the bundle gives you more bang for your buck and definitely more card creating possibilities. Imagine all the Christmoose cards you can create with this bundle!

So, the card layout is pretty simple, however simple can still be striking. You could add a layer of glitter paper in there behind the pattern paper so that it only shows about a 1/4 of an inch on either side. You could add glitter or stickles to match the glitter paper to his cozy warm sweater. There are just so many little details that make these images pop on the card front. Truth be told - I love the card just the way it is!

Here are some quick measurements if you would like to give this card a try:

Card base - 4 1/4 x 11, Scored @5 1/2

Pattern Paper - 3 1/4 x 5 1/2

Sentiment Strip - 1/2 x 3 1/4

Elvis Wesley Moose was colored with Copic Markers and popped up with foam tape.

** Remember if you don’t like to color, you can also purchase the image pre colored.

Mistletoe Hello precolored

The Gems are Spellbinders prism gems ( I’ll try to find the link for those ).

I hope you love creating “Christmoose” Cards as much as I did!
