I am so in love with this 2 step tree stamp!

The tree comes from a Honey Bee stamp set - Farmhouse Tree Builder. The stamp set is filled with adorable images to create a beautifully decorated Christmas tree with tons of ornaments. This is a stamp set that you will go back to over and over again, and as you can see the tree makes a beautiful card using only the detailed tree. The tree is a 2 step stamp for the tree and a 3rd stamp for the fallen snow on the tree. So you can stamp this tree with or without the snow.

I chose to showcase the beautifully detailed tree for this card. The tree stamps so lovely and such nice detail. I come from farm country where there are trees all around us, many of them evergreens, and one thing I have always found is that it’s very hard to find a stamp set that captures the true reality of an evergreen tree, however this stamp set nails it!!

To help the tree stand out even further I used a piece of sparkly white cardstock with Spellbinders Embossing Folder - Forever Green to create the beautiful depth and detail of pine needles behind the tree image.

I simply adore the sentiment which comes from Honey Bee stamps - Home for the Holidays with coordinating dies Honey Cuts - Home for the Holidays.

This card is a simple yet stunning layout that works up quickly and always works when you want your focal image to really stand out.

The measurements are:

Card base - 4 1/4 x 11, Scored @5 1/2

Sparkle paper - 3 1/4 x 5 1/2

Pattern paper - 2 - 1 1/4 x 5 1/2

White cardstock scrap for the sentiment.

Adhere the pattern strips to either side of the card base. Attach the sparkle paper down the center of the card base ( don’t forget to emboss it first ). Stamp the tree in desired colors ( I advise using 2 different shades of green). Add the snowflake layer to the tree if desired. You can stamp this using white pigment ink, or stamp in Versamark ink and white embossing powder then heat set.

Adhere the tree using foam tape to the front of the embossed layer. Attach the sentiment with foam tape.

Lastly add a few sparkly gems or rhinestones for a just a little touch of magic to complete the card.
