Gorgeous Baby Card - Magic Meadow

Recently, I realized I needed to add a hint of baby cards to my stash. The category seemed to have completely run dry. Baby cards are something I don’t tend to make a lot of, so when I do they usually disappear quickly. Why don’t I make a lot of them? Great question!

I suppose the answer may be that I don’t have a lot of great supplies for baby themed cards!

So when I saw this set of products newly released it spoke to me. It said gorgeous baby themed cards in my mind. However, the set is not actually intended for baby cards. For me… it was still whispering thoughts of cards for little ones.

This bundle comes with a stamp set, dies and papers. The papers are so beautiful that I could just stick them on a card front with a sentiment and done! They are soft and subtle prints that just warm your soul and maybe that’s why my intended purpose for them was baby cards. Or possibly it may have been this adorable little baby deer.

The set offers several ways to craft up this little deer. You can stamp, color & cut the image as I did in today’s card, OR several dies are included to paper piece the deer together, along with a outline die. The dies for the animals also include embossed sections to capture all those tiny details.

I said “animals”! Yes I did. The set also includes an adorable sleeping fox along with many options to create him.

The beautiful papers and adorable animals were not the only reasons this bundle was a must have for me.

On the card above you can see I created a partial layer with a lovely scalloped edge die ( included in the bundle ). It created some interest along with the pattern paper as a backdrop for the deer and the sentiment.

That scalloped edge die is not the only edge die included in this bundle. There are 3 of them in total to create magic on your card fronts or to use for adding a touch of magic to envelopes.

The sentiment is just one of large word type sentiments in the bundle, along with coordinating dies to cut the sentiment out. For the card above “You Are Loved” seemed highly appropriate for this baby card. I stamped the sentiment to the far side of a layer of white cardstock cut at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I embossed this layer with a tiny dot embossing folder from my stash - then die cut the sentiment from it and used the remainder with the edge die to create the scalloped panel for the card front. The sentiment looks so cute with those coordinating dots in it.

Before attaching the sentiment, I added some Lawn Trimmings Hemp Cord to the embossed layer just to add a little more natural woodsy element.

The leaf sprigs used to create a little bit of a grounding space for the deer are also included in the bundle as stamps & die, though I just die cut them and colored them with my Copic markers.

There is so much to adsorb about this incredible bundle - I have to show it to you just so you can see all that is featured in it, and the many ways it will allow you to create fabulous cards for any occasion!

So here it is… As you can see the stamp set is adorable on it’s own, however added with that 49 piece die set, with edge/envelope dies, focal shapes, the rippled rectangular frame die, all of parts and pieces to create the deer, fox, flowers, butterfly, bows and sentiment dies this set becomes simply amazing. What a great bunch of supplies to add to your stash!

It’s really hard to contain my excitement over this bundle! There are tons of great products out there, no doubt about that, but this one seemed like it had the potential to add a lot of options to my stash that could be used alongside with products I already have as well.

I have created a few cards already using the Magic Meadow Bundle, in fact I’ll share another one tomorrow so you can see a card example for another occasion and it’s simpy adorable as well.

I hope today’s card brought you inspiration to create something beautiful, or at least reminded you that you need to send someone a card…
