Found: Bella the Bear in the flower garden…

A beautiful card with a die cut edge - featuring Bella the Bear.

Bella the Bear has been missing… well she has been found amongst the beautiful blooms in the flower patch.

What is she up to in the flower patch?

So here is Bella in the flower patch admiring all of the beautiful flowers.

Which flowers will she chooose?

Beautiful golden/orange butterflies flutter above Bella as she takes in the aroma of many delightful flowers.

Maybe she’ll stay in the flower patch forever.

Will she?

Keep an eye out for an upcoming card that will reveal what Bella was doing in the flower patch!

Until then… let’s get into some details about this card.

The layout is relatively quick, yet the overall effect is beautiful.

I can’t help but think the gorgeous pattern paper plays a big part in the overall beauty of this card.

The paper is from Polka Doodles - Spring Gnome Printable Paper and is yet another gorgeous example of digital paper.

The selected piece of paper was printed and cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and adhered to the front of a card base cut at 4 1/4 x 11, Scored at 5 1/2.

Bella the Bear - Daisy is a digital image that comes complete with a cutting file for several different cutting machines or of course you can just fussy cut the image if you don’t happen to have a cutting machine.

For this card there is no need to cut the image out.

It simply prints on cardstock directly from your printer and then you cut page down to the desired size.

In this case the image was cut to 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 , then a simple scalloped edged boarder die was used to cut across the bottom edge.

After coloring the Bella with Copic markers, that layer was added over top of the pattern paper card front using foam tape, leaving the bottom of the pattern paper exposed.

The sentiment “Have a Really Special Day” was printed from Spring and Gnome Sentiments.

This awesome pack of sentiments includes 31 sentiments and they’re not just for Gnomes, as you can see on today’s card.

The sentiment strip was popped up with foam tape, however it could be placed flat as well for mailing purposes, since one layer already has added dimension from foam tape.

Covering the image with a sticky note I added a tiny bit of yellow/orange splatter to the white areas around Bella. This tied in the yellow from the pattern paper with the yellow centers of the daisies and kinda spread it all around the card.

A few orange colored gems were added to give the card a little extra sparkle.

I think the card turned out beautiful - so colorful and vibrant. Wishing someone a special day could be for many occasions… birthday, anyday, just because…
