Since I find these digital images from leehollandart so darn cute and easy to work with, I’ve been creating some fun cards with these squirrels between other projects.
I really enjoy breathing life into these adorable little characters through Copic color. Plus… the images all seem to be spring or summer scenes and I’m anxiously awaiting that season.
This card, with a squirrel poking his head out of a flower pot to make friends with a passing butterfly is such a playful image and the colors played well with the colors in the patterned paper.
The layout has stayed true to the edge die and a partial die cut card front, allowing the popped up image and the patterned paper in the background to work together .
