A Card - Just to Say…
What is with all of these mice?
Is it just me, or does there seem to be a mouse theme happening here on the blog recently?
These mice were just to cute to resist! Their tiny little hands working together to create a beautiful display of flowers. It reminded me of a warm summer day - and when you are currently sitting in a deep freeze (-35) any hints of a warmer time of year are more than welcomed.
This digital image comes from Lily of the Valley. I have linked to the Etsy Shop and if you google them you will find all of their social media links. The artwork is positively beautiful with endless possibilities when creating digitally. I do believe that they sell physical stamp sets at different points, however I have only worked with their digitals.
The creation of this card was pretty simple, however that sure doesn’t take away from it’s appeal. The image was colored using Copic Markers and backed onto a pretty pink gingham paper, cut using an inverted rectangle die.
** These dies were a pleasant surprise, upon arrival I discovered that not only does it include the inverted zig zag dies but also the plain rectangles. Which is kind of a “2 birds with one stone” thing - you get fancy rectangles and plain edge rectangles. Bonus!!
The scripty sentiment came from a sentiment pack also from LOTV. The pack contains a great arsenal of sentiments that are super handy when creating cards for just a few dollars.
Look forward to more crafty endeavors using Lily of the Valley images since they are one of my favorite digital stamp shops. Their whimsical illustrations bring a splash of fun and creativity that I love incorporating into my projects.
Now, who will I send this super cute card to??
