Sleigh What? -Festive Gnome Card

It’s Christmas!

There’s something so warm and cozy about flannel in winter. The soft, brushed fabric wraps you in a delightful embrace, inviting you to sip hot cocoa by the fireplace or snuggle up with a good book. Its classic patterns, from charming checks to whimsical plaids, evoke feelings of nostalgia and comfort.

Whether it’s layered over your favorite tshirt or transformed into delightful DIY cards, flannel brings a touch of rustic charm to the season.

Created as part of the Polkadoodles Design Team

A variety of printable paper from Polkadoodles - Winnie White Christmas 2 resembling flannel created a background and a frame for this super fun card design.

Birch trees in winter -Their striking white bark stands out against a serene blanket of snow, delicate branches adorned with frost, reminding us of the magic that lies in the simplest moments.

In this case, the birch trees were stamped onto a background panel and Stickle highlights were added to create a beautiful frosty effect.

The panel was cut with a rectangle die, ensuring it would fit into the background of the flannel die cut frame.

Center stage In this whimsical winter wonderland is a delightful image featuring a jolly Santa Gnome joyfully riding on his sled, pulled by an irresistibly adorable polar bear.

I guess he is taking over for Rudolph this year?!

The Gnome image is one of the many festive and fun images available from Polkadoodles -

Gnome Festive Fun Collection and this particular image is called Polar Bear-Gnome Festive Fun.

The digital image was printed and colored using Copic Markers:

Stickles were added to trees for some sparkle.

A few dancing snowflake embellishments grace the scene.

Lastly… some tiny blue gems to further play on the other blue elements from the card.

The vintage colors and lovely details of this card bring back warm memories of a cozy, snowy Christmas night… you know, back when we had Gnomes :).
