“Pink Isn’t Just A Color, It’s An Attitude”

This girl has a big attitude, voluminous eyelashes, an insatiable desire to shop, and an undeniable love for the color pink… or so the sentiment says.

The sentiment is printed from PolkaDoodles Rebel Collection - Rebel Easy Snip Sentiments

The image is also from the Rebel collection - Shopping Girl

The beautiful printable pattern paper… you guessed it PolkaDoodles - Noodle Panda Paper Set 1

How playful and fun are these papers? Can’t you just imagine them on so many projects!

I know I can!! -

12 paper designs for $3.00. That you can print over and over again.

I colored this gals’ vibrant wardrobe using Copic Markers, and perhaps I should have used a little more pink since she proclaims that pink is an attitude. In my defense - I chose the sentiment after creating the card.

The main point of this card was to get the layout of it out there. I love a card front where I can show off some embossing and pattern paper. If I can get in a bit of splatter, well that is just a bonus!!

With this layout I was able to do it all.

The measurements are easy:

Card base - 4 1/4 x 11

White Cardstock - 1 x 5 1/2, 1 3/4 x 5 1/2

Pattern Paper - 2 x 5 1/2

and the put together:

Adhere the pattern paper layer to the front of the card base about 3/4 of an inch from the left edge.

Emboss the 2 pieces of white cardstock using a favorite embossing folder.

Add a hint of splatter ( ink mixed with a few drops of water ) to the 2 white sections of cardstock.

Add foam tape to the back of the 2 white cardstock sections and adhere the smallest one on the left edge of the card base and the next piece to the right edge of the front of the card.

Color the image with Copic Markers, or whatever coloring tools you choose. Attach the image to the bottom right corner of the card (just hanging over the edge of the white cardstock section. ( you may want to attach a small foam dot to the back of this section ).

Print and cut the desired sentiment and add to the top left corner of the card - overlapping onto the pattern paper. Attach using foam tape and adhesive in order to keep the greeting level.

Add a few coordinating gems to the card front.

When I create this card again ( and I definitely will ) I will use more shades of pink in my Copic Coloring of the Rebel girl so that I can totally embrace her fabulous world of pink!

This card layout is quirky, fun and will work with many different images, so if these Rebel girls aren’t your thing - no problem, take a peek at PolkaDoodles for an image you love and give it a try on this card layout!
